A Bit About Us
Here at The Modern Athena, we see the value of all women's achievements. We want to be a catalyst for positive recognition and celebration of these successes globally. Throughout history, women have come together and lead purposeful action to fight inequality in the hope of a better future for themselves, their children, and women all around the world.

Our three main goals are support, empowerment, and progress. Now that we have started to see a changing world, one in which women are at the forefront, we hope to continue the momentum by acknowledging and celebrating the many achievements (both big and small) of women in all areas.

A Bit of Background
Athena is the Greek Goddess of wisdom, war, and the crafts, adored patroness of the city of Athens and beloved daughter of Zeus. Athena was perhaps, the wisest, most courageous, and certainly the most resourceful of the Olympian gods.
Here at The Modern Athena, our mission is to recognize, honor, and celebrate the important and impressive achievements of women globally. Thus, we found it very fitting the name ourselves after the brave and wise Athena.
